Our client is a UK leader in providing schools and colleges with a diverse set of educational products, ICT services and solutions all designed to support teaching and learning. Many educational establishments have chosen to look to our client for the provision of onsite support with their ICT solution. Maintaining their reputation as a partner of choice for education and growing this business is of vital strategic importance and the role of Relationship Manager is essential to achieving that. The nature of these managed service support contracts range from delivering to individual school requirements through to large c£40m plus contract with local / central government. Support to the school is provided by a technical support team based onsite and remotely, project managers and educationalists as required, all overseen/managed by the Relationship Manager.
The Relationship Manager is entirely accountable for ensuring that schools' needs are understood and met and is empowered to take the action necessary to achieve this and to develop profitable, longstanding relationships with these establishments. The Relationship Manager works with senior school leaders and the in-house delivery teams that they manage to ensure that an excellent service is delivered and a firm basis is developed upon which to retain and grow the business. Field based and reporting to the Regional Director, the Relationship Manager typically oversees 16 schools and has line management responsibility for onsite delivery teams to mobilise the support required and create a shared understanding of the customer's requirements.
This is a robust management role and it is likely that you are a graduate with excellent written, numerical and presentation skills. To be considered for this role you should have a passion and interest in education and the education sector.
