What you'll be doing
As the Plant Hire Coordinator, you will have the responsibility for my clients own internal hire inventory, ensuring operational delivery of plant equipment across the estate and reducing overall costs of external plant hire equipment. As part of this role, you will drive performance and service by proactively identifying utilisation opportunities in support of short-term hire for specific equipment, reducing time waste in repairs, managing stop gap fixes for failures of equipment, supporting customers during scale size events, reducing over hire periods, and providing customer satisfaction. You will engage and build great relationships with key operational colleagues whilst using your enthusiastic approach to lead and motivate other staff to ensure the department utilisation is maximised and first customer service is upheld.
