Job Title: Van Driver x 2 (Ex- Military candidates preferred)

THE COMPANY

Our client is one of the leading distributors of Fixings, Fasteners and Building Consumables in the UK. Our customers include a range of the most renowned names in the Construction and Civil Engineering industries; among them are main contractors and specialist sub-contractors.

JOB PURPOSE

Delivering goods to construction industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise the loading of your vehicle so that products are safely loaded and secured to minimise chances of damage.

• Ensure with loader that the load is correct against customers' orders.

• Ensure that on arrival the delivery is safe to make and respect the customers' property

• Check goods off with customers and obtain signature

• Provide excellent customer service

• Carry out multi drop delivery's in a timely and safe manner and drive the vehicle safely and in accordance with the law.

• Look after the vehicle and ensure that it is not subjected to unnecessary damage.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the van

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Excellent customer service and communication skills required, as you will be dealing with B2B customers/ contractors.

• Hold a full UK driving licence

• Experience of driving in London & Camberley is beneficial

• Multi-drop experience also desirable but not essential.
