Service and Diagnostic Technician

Our client are retailers of new and used passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and well known branded cars in London, Greater London, Middlesex, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Berkshire. They are also authorised repairers and conduct services for the brands; operating our their own MOT test centres.

Our client is expanding it's London presence with the opening of a brand new Van Centre coming soon! It's a really exciting time to join them in this new venture and they are looking for talented colleagues to help them deliver the excellent service that their Customers require.

Our client are recruiting a Service and Diagnostic Technician to join the team. If you are looking to be an integral part of the businesses growth and success, and are from either a franchised dealer or an independent garage, then they want to hear from you!

Our client are offering a competitive basic salary with an OTE plus a sign on bonus of £1,000 when you join and another £1,000 at month 13!

The main purpose of the Diagnostic Technician role is to diagnose, repair and service a range of vehicles within the workshop, ensuring customers receive excellent customer service at all times.

Your Responsibilities will include:

Carrying out diagnostics and undertaking servicing and repair work on customer vehicles.

Liaising on work with Service Advisors and customers.

Working as part of a team and assisting other technicians to help deliver excellent customer service.

Ensuring effective use of technical knowledge and skills enabling efficient and safe working.

Our client is looking for an experienced Service & Diagnostic Technician who has a proven ability to diagnose faults and complete electrical and mechanical repairs on vehicles.

In order to be successful, you must possess the following:

A relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3

Own Set of Tools

Full UK Driving Licence
