Our Client is a keen supporter of ex-forces personnel and to be considered for this role you should have served in the British Armed Forces.
This role requires a high level of technical knowledge and capability, coupled with an ability to inspire and mentor Engineers to continually improve their performance in line with Environmental, Quality and Health & Safety requirements.
Reporting to the Service Supervisor the main purpose of this role is to act as a direct interface between the client, the public and our engineers. The successful candidate will also assist in maintaining the offices QHSE and sector scheme obligations.
The tasks for the majority of the time will be performed in an outside environment but will include some office environment working.
Within the role there are disturbing factors, weather, noise and the public.
The role entails a significant amount of travel, manual handling and working at height on a daily basis.
The successful candidate will act as the principle escalation point for technical issues, providing both telephone and on site guidance to Engineers, ensuring follow-up of the escalation to point of completion and noting training requirements for continual skills improvement of Engineers. Furthermore, the Senior Engineer must be aware of the contractual requirements in the area of responsibility including customer details, project scope and KPI's.
