The Role
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Sales Manager to join the Work Winning Sales Team covering the East Midlands, Wales and South West of the UK. This role will focus on the development and growth of new revenue streams for the whole business whilst also promoting the Company's existing propositions throughout the sales area. Ideally a person with experience or knowledge of the telecommunications industry, able to lead on comms opportunities and assist / train others. The proven ability to manage accounts and develop and maintain relationships with both new and existing customers is essential. Identifying, progressing and closing opportunities are critical requirements of the role to maximise growth in line with business strategy.

They specialise in the design, development, installation and maintenance of the technologies and infrastructure that satisfy our Clients' transport and communications challenges.
Our clients' products, systems and services solve problems in road and rail transport, public lighting, communications and infrastructure in urban, rural and inter-urban environments; delivering benefit to end users such as the travelling public, as well as achieving the goals of public and private transport operators and authorities.
This role will necessitate working closely with other members of the Work Winning team, the Work Doing and the Innovation and Professional Services teams. It is essential you own and manage the CRM sales pipeline for your area and develop plans and tactics for targeting and winning contracts, both new opportunities and renewals.
The Candidate
The successful candidate must be experienced and confident in visiting customers and writing and delivering presentations to large groups to stimulate the demand for sales. This will require market and competitive analysis to be undertaken regularly. It is envisaged the role will involve extensive travel and is primarily a field based role.
