ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client is looking to recruit a Light Fixed Wing Flying Instructor for their contract at RNAS Yeovilton.
On a full time basis, she/he will be responsible for providing flying training to the Royal Naval customer utilising Company owned Grob 115E training aircraft and reporting to the Operations Manager/Senior Pilot on site.
The candidate will deliver the highest quality flying and ground instruction across a diverse range of courses including Air Experience, Refresher, Conversion and Pilot Grading and contribute to short (normally 4 working days) recruiting-focused flying detachments up to 5 times a year to other sites in the UK.
The candidate will also conduct challenging secondary duties in support of the flying task and as an optional flexibility clause in the contract, support flying training tasks at other LAFT2 sites namely Army Aviation Centre Middle Wallop during off-peak periods or when released, with commensurate benefits. Whilst augmenting other units, she/he will ensure that Company Health, Safety and Environmental procedures are implemented and complied with at all times.
