GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities of aPlant Engineering & Maintenance Manager.

You will be…

• Managing vital maintenance operations.
• Responsible for ensuring a safe and efficient production line.
• Providing expert direction and leadership to Supervisors and Engineers to ensure equipment uptime objectives are met.
• Responsible for leading in a variety of fields, from the delivery of metrics within the Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Morale and Environment framework to the planning and maintenance of area personnel resourcing.
• Responsible for all equipment and for maintaining and improving our Operations Performance Rate.
• Your work will have significant impact on core operations and targets.

Key Candidate Criteria

• You must combine proven technical experience of mechanical and electrical engineering.
• You have a recognized maintenance qualification and a track record of managing a Maintenance team or equivalent.
• You have experience of working in a complex, high-volume manufacturing environment.

• You employ LEAN techniques. You may have a Six Sigma Black / Green Belt qualification.
• You can confidently manage relationships with customers, suppliers and advanced manufacturing engineers.
• You are willing to work variable hours.
