The Role
We have a new opportunity for Technicians to join the NRTS (National Road Transport Service) Project, where the successful candidate will join our existing and experienced New Works teams as we expand to meet our client's portfolio of project related works.
The main purpose of this role is to assist our New Works Engineers in providing a first class service in engineering, ensuring that their/our works are completed in accordance with our agreed quality, processes and controls. The role will involve you having contact with our client, as well as our supply chain and, as such, you will need to develop and maintain strong and trusting relationships with these representatives. A 'can do' and collaborative attitude is key, to ensure that you are able to assist your colleagues and Lead Engineer in resolving operational challenges.
The successful applicant will have a working knowledge or work experience of fix line telecommunications networks, from which they'll be able to assist with the associated cable terminations (copper and fibre), and testing of the installation, whilst gaining experience of compiling and submitting associated test results and documentation.
