L3 BOWMAN Repair Engineer
Location: Bicester, Oxfordshire

The Role
To investigate the causes or likely causes of equipment failure and to carry out Level 3 repairs on those equipments requested by the MoD.
Ideal applicants will have an in depth knowledge of BOWMAN equipment and have passed the L3 BOWMAN Maintainer Course. This position would suit a senior Corporal or Sergeant with hands on experience of the equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Experienced and practiced in repairing and maintaining:
- 8m Pneumatic mast (5985-99-645-0039)
- 414 Field Telephone (5805-99-786-1530)
- CPU (5820-99-884-0185)
- AUTE Mk2, test equipment (6625-99-911-2269)
- Completed MOD Bowman L3 Maintainer course
- Experienced and practiced at repairing and maintaining Bowman equipment at L3
- Ability to create L3 facility and process
- Training of local staff
- This is a hands on position
Experience
- Class 1 REME Corporal or Sergeant
- BOWMAN L3 Maintainer trained
- Hands on experience of carrying out L3
- Experience of training others is desirable

Physical Requirements
- Be able to identify colours, particularly when working with electrical wiring
- Be able to complete a day's site work including some physical exertion
- Willing to work variable hours (if required).
