Hugh Andree

Hugh AndréeFounder, trained at RMA Sandhurst and subsequently served as an Infantry Officer for ten years. He entered recruitment in 1997 working for Martin Ward Anderson. In 2001 he helped set up and list Imprint Plc with Brian Hamill where he remained until December 2005 having seen the company grow from a 'greenfield site' to a global recruitment business with a market capitalisation in excess of £100m. In April 2006 he established his own Executive Search practice focusing on City recruitment across Fixed Income, Wealth Management and Infrastructure.

 

Hugh is the founder member of ForceSelect and manages ForceExec, placing senior military personnel into Executive and Board level appointments.

Andy

Andy McNab DCM MM, Director, served in the British Army for eighteen years spending eight years as an infantry soldier and ten years in 22 Special Air Service. He was awarded the Distinguished Conduct Medal and Military Medal during his military career and went on to become the Army's most highly decorated soldier. Andy has written about his experiences in the SAS in three bestselling books, Bravo Two Zero (1993), Immediate Action (1995) and Seven Troop (2008). Bravo Two Zero is the highest selling war book of all time. Andy's best-selling action thrillers are also acclaimed for their authenticity, selling over 30 million copies worldwide. Andy has been on the board of directors of a private security company for over ten years, and regularly advises the MOD and the FBI.  He also acts as special advisor to Hollywood film productions.  He is a patron of Help for Heroes, regularly visiting British Forces in Afghanistan and bases in the UK.

General Sir Michael Jackson

General Sir Michael Jackson GCB CBE DSO DL, Non-Executive Director, served as a British Army officer, formerly Chief of the General Staff.  He was previously commander of KFor in Kosovo as well as being an IFOR commander in Bosnia and Herzegovina, second in command of a company of the Parachute Regiment in Derry during the events of Bloody Sunday and a company commander with the Parachute Regiment in South Armagh during the Warrenpoint Ambush. General Sir Mike Jackson was awarded the MBE in 1979, the CBE in 1992, the CB in 1996, the KCB in 1998, the DSO in 1999 and the GCB in 2004. Since retiring from the Army in 2006, he has taken up a number of consultancy and board positions. In addition to being a non-Executive Director for ForceSelect, he is also Head of the Trustees for the ForceSelect Foundation

 

Stephen Morris

Stephen Morris, Non-Executive Director, served briefly in the Army before joining Unilever in 1974 where, for six years, he worked in various sales and marketing positions. In 1984 he set up his first agency, Haygarth, which he built into a highly successful multi disciplined communications group before selling in 2001, in a deal capped at £62M. Stephen has funded a number of other agencies in which he has a significant shareholding, all of whom call on his experience in the areas of strategy, corporate structure, financial planning and new business acquisition. His current appointments include Non Exec Chairman roles in Burlington Recruitment Group and GX Laboratory Holdings as well as significant interests across a number of other business sectors. Stephen's main strengths are the ability to identify opportunities and to build and lead sound management teams to exploit those.

Colin Collino

Dr Colin Collino, Non-Executive Director, has 25 years’ experience of leading and building start up companies in the areas of manufacturing, publishing, broadcasting, sound recording, mobile telecoms, foreign exchange, software development, recruitment, property development, exploration and mining. The consistent theme of these companies has been the re-engineering of traditional revenue generating businesses with emerging technology. Colin initially trained at St Thomas’s Hospital London and pursued a medical career to consultant level. Colin is a founder director of Clevertech.tv - a software and technology company, Sceptre Ltd - a foreign exchange and financial technology company and Rodfur Investments - an exploration and mining company.

Brigadier Richard Dennis OBE

Brigadier Richard Dennis OBE, Non-Executive Director and a serving Army officer, Richard acts as ForceSelect's eyes and ears within the serving community to ensure that the company is fully tuned to the changing needs of the service leaver. An MBA and non-executive director of an engineering company, he specialises in tackling large, complex, people-based challenges and sees the work of ForceSelect not only being of benefit for the individuals that pass through the company's hands - but as a positive retention tool to reassure the serving community that they will be professionally helped when their time comes to transition back into civilian life.

Rachel Deakin

Rachel Deakin, Head of Mentoring, began her career in management for an international retailer before coaching and mentoring consultants and clients in the wellbeing and health industry.
An army wife for 23 years, Rachel has significant experience in the transition between military and civilian life both personally and professionally.
In 2007 she began training the long-term unemployed, ex-offenders and those without basic qualifications, helping them work towards gaining employment and improving quality of life and that of their families.
Many of these included military service leavers who were given advice and guidance to identify appropriate future jobs and the necessary qualifications for jobs in these areas.
